Elder& Senior Pastor, Vincent A. Taylor III with his lovely First Lady, Elder Danita Taylor are influential leaders who serve The LORD's people with integrity and humility. Throughout their 30+ years of marriage, Mrs. Taylor has diligently served alongside her husband Elder Vincent Taylor, founder and pastor of Solid Rock Ministries City of Refuge of Clayton, NC. Together, they have touched the lives of many around the world with their compassionate and caring spirit. Remember to keep GOD first and seek ye the KINGDOM OF GOD! MAY GOD BLESS YOU!
OUR VISION
The mission of Solid Rock Ministries City of Refuge is to glorify God, edify the saints and evangelize the lost. More specifically, the purpose and mission of Solid Rock Ministries City of Refuge is to effectively minister and disciple people of all nations, races, economic, social, ethnic backgrounds, and life situations through the Word of God. This is accomplished through committed leadership in order to enhance spiritual growth and victorious living. Furthermore, we emphasize family restoration and the significance of the family. Three priorities that are accentuated at this church are: faith, family, and fulfillment of purpose.
WHAT WE DO
THE KINGDOM OF GOD is the message that is conveyed from this ministry. The strategy that is utilized to accomplish the mission of Solid Rock Ministries City of Refuge may be unconventional at times, but it will never compromise the message. This ministry is not church as usual. Instead, we are attempting to carry out God’s mandate concerning the “Great Commission” by reaching the disenchanted, lost, and unchurched by utilizing different methodologies and strategies.
OUR COMMUNITY
Our community is that of love and kindness, committed to the ideals of the fruits of the spirit. We understand and embrace that we ALL fall short of the GLORY OF GOD and that HIS Grace & Mercy is a Privilege available to ALL who will ACCEPT IT!!
